so far we have a type-s doing 117mph traps.

I'm not trying to bash people who own them and say they are slow and their cars suck, I'm just looking for some impressive stuff done with people who use type-s instead of stuff like the hks ssq or a tial.

The Type S will work fine for most applications, unless you are making serious power, which would most likely require a Racing BOV, or a Spring Mod. at the very least.

Just play it safe and go with the HKS. It's proven to hold boost and not leak (reverse pull design). Very well built valve and capable of holding a good amount of power/boost.

Maybe he'll chime in. The car has a timeslip near that MPH from years ago, when it was much slower.

Enough said. I'm just the type of person who likes proven power and since when I had one and what I saw personally it was proven to fail in my eyes so I was just trying to get more opinions.

I think a good portion of a failing BOV's performance hinderance can be curbed by the type of air metering system that is being used on the car, and where the meter is located. You are going to see it worse on some cars, and not so bad on others.
