I was looking at a 95Eclipse Spyder. I have to keep looking around. However, whatever I get, I am going all out. All-motor. Building from the crank up to the retainers. I am going to invest about $6000 in the motor and head. [/B]

They have no performance potential, its FWD, and they are ugly.

It is simple... I want an all motor car, but there is something about the Eclipse I like. Now of course if I get a Spider I am going to upgrade the turbo and change to strong low-compression pistons and rods, then cams and shit. I just heard that the 90s models have potential and I was curious about the 2000 also. This car will determine if I end up going all motor or turbo.

you cant upgrade a turbo if there is no turbo to upgrade!!!

Oh ok I got ya. CHeck this. Some Eclipses come with a turbo. If I get an Eclipse, it will be turbo'd. I will not buy a N/A Eclipse. Didn't mean any confusion...
