it all depends on wut you plan on doing with the car..i know once i got my TSI i never want another N/A car again
there is no RWD dsm's unless they are a custom job
the GST has the potnetial to be a very fast car aslong as you have the money to keep dumping into it..but if your just looking for a car to get around in go for the spyder

If you're worried about style and looking good, get the spyder since it's a ragtop and it has the 97+ styling. If you want a good fast car, get the 95 GS-T, since it will probably be cheaper than the Spyder, even if the Spyder is a GS.
If the Spyder is a GS-T and you want the ragtop, then go for it. The convertible will be nice to have on sunny days, but it will suck when you need to replace the top and you'll also be hating it when you are racing people since it's heavier, not as aerodynamic, and less stable.
I'd say just get the 95 GS-T, especially if the mileage and price are decent. If it hs a sunroof, that should be more than enough for what you are looking for.
In order for us to give you more detailed responses though, you need to tell us what you want to do with the car.

Thanks 4 all the great info so far.. the gst has 94k on it and its going for $5400. My basic plans 4 the car is to build a decently fast car i guess but nothing to major im guessing just intake and exhaust but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.... but basically i need a car that i can build while im in school and what not till i have enough money to fund this project s14/s15 i been thinking of doing..... the thing is right now im living on my own pretty much and everything has to come from my pockets imma get the dealer to finance me 4 the elcipse wish me luck...
ChrisMonsod how much would u be looking to get for the 98 and would u be willing to work an installment program....sorry im poor i had to ask..lol

buy my car, it's already fast
needs nothing if you're content with low 13s and if you're skinny and drive good you MIGHT could hit high 12s.
btw... what kind plan you looking for ? i'll take 3k down and 1k a month till it's paid... lemme know
