Divorce the 02!, If you have the rest of the exhaust done, and a non-stock turbo, it should free up some power if you don't want to spend the $ on a ported exhaust man.

 

i dont quite understand what you are saying but i have full 3 inch downpipe back exhaust and my down pipe is killing me because its stock so this is a 2.5 inch down pipe and i will be buying a tubular manifold in the future so the down pipe dosent make a difference i thought it would

 

No it does make a difference. He is just saying you need to run open dump. That give the exhuast it's full potential to do its job and just run the dump into the atmosphere.

 

That thing in the picture is not a down pipe it is a 02 eliminator.
Are you saying you have a 3 inch down pipe along with a 3 inch cat back and a stock 02 housing. If so the syock 02 housing isnt hurting that much if any on that turbo. If you have the extra money and it is a direct bolt in i would say get it.

 

yes, the thing in the pic is an aftermarket o2 housing. If u have a 3" downpipe, test pipe/hi-flow cat, and 3" cat back, that o2 housing will help. But im not quite sure what u are talking about now.....

 

ok well from the stock o2 housing is full 3 inch mandreal bent exhaust all they way back no cat and nothing, but the thing is im getting crazy boost creep my boost is set at 14 but it will some times go to 15 or it wont even boost 13 it will go to 11....i dont know maybe i have a vacuum leak..................p.s they make the same one with the dump pipe into the atmosphere at the same price

 

go with the open atmosphere. If you wish I have a ported evoIII o2 with open dump thats heat wrapped that I will be looking to get rid of since I'm going to a bigger turbo setup and external wastegate. I will sell it to you for less then what they are offering. And mine is proven and has seen 127mph traps in the 1/4.
