Default Decisions to make.

Well i was thinking. I will be tripling my income soon and will be able to aford a new evo. Think i should sell my gst and get the evo???

Any reliability issues with the evo?? What are the main problems with the evo. Only real reason im wanting to buy the evo is because im sick of the problems with the eclipse. Would i be better off dropping a 6bolt rebuilt into the eclipse and just continue to replace everything as it breaks every week. Orrrr should i go with the evo?

What would you do?

If you can afford the Evo, I say go ahead, they're great cars.

No car that you constantly fuck with is going to be super-reliable. If you get an evo and leave it alone, sure, it should be fine. I'd use the extra money to buy an additional car, and then working on your 2g won't be out of necessity, it will become fun again.

Wise words. Its always nice if the car does break, to be able to fix it when ever you get around to it and not have to rush it beacause you need it for work the next day.

If i were to get the evo i doubt that id mod it. Maybe a few simple mods nothing really too big. Like intake exhaust bov. Thatd be it for a long time. I dont think that would hurt?

first of all i highly dought anyone will insure you on the evo!!! Second the evos have problems with aftermarket bov's. Third keep the gst and buy a cheap beater car to beat the shit out of and save the gst for mods and going out with the woman. Fourth You drive that evo to school it WILL end up getting keyed or fucked with. Its not worth it. Put the money away for college or even a house.

Go for an evo. No offense, but there's no comparison between a brand new evo and a 7 year old dsm. I seriously doubt you'd be disappointed.

Its just i hear problems about evo. Like huge transmission issues. T-case breaks all the fucking time or whatever... I wouldnt really mod it. I just want a car that looks hot, will last me 6years cause i wont do more than 15000 miles a year, im going to college right here, and that will be as fast or faster than the car i already have. I cant go back to the amt of hp i was producing stock.

What problems with evo? I just want a reliable car... The gst isnt producing that aspect. Its hot it feels fast for me... reliability is a shit hole.
