That color is sooo damn fine!!! props for the 97-up conversion with that color... and DEF AGREE get the 97-up Turbo wing back on it.... get ur CF hood, get that FMIC, get some newer 97-up GSX rims with the polished lip... and you will have one BADASS MOTHAFUCKIN GS-T for teh TAMPA area!!! I mean damn, i can picture it now! so damn well know will it be, and so respectable with the clean ass look you'll ahve going to back up the power... there will be power right? lol

 

18's good for show, bad for speed. IMO, they work being it's a daily driver, and you obviously want some looks WITH speed. Alot of people have to realize everyone isn't into being a hardcore racer with a stripped interior and black steelies. My best advice, do what makes YOU happy...don't waste your time trying to make everyone else happy, because it's impossible.

I had the same style rims on my civic when i was a honda fag,
they are clean and light.

You guys have been great. I can't wait to get down to Florida. Those rims on the 3 G look like the paradyme wheels that I see on allot of eclipses. Definately look hot. The actual name of my car color is Copper Durango Pearl and it's not cheap. But wanted to stay with the stock color. Don't see any 97 + that color.

REDchirp- I really like the rims but will need to get my arse moved down and set up before I could drop some money on the car. Looking forward to seeing the chop. I got some better pics of my car at home so will get them posted up after work. BTW it's a GSX not a GST

A Little clarification on the speed factor. I really do want to go faster but want a streetable car. Not ditching the interior and such. I plan on getting a 6 bolt after my 7 crank-walks or dies. Then I will go for the speed build up. Thinking of going with a 16G, bigger injectors, DSM link and such. The guy that owned it before me didn't mod it at all but also didn't take care of it so I have been going thru the restoration process since I bought it.

I really can't wait to get down in the sun and meet you all and have you help me get on the right track for mods and upgrades.

Man we are cool katz...you know you like the spelling of katz. yeah bro that color is damn sweet, how much did the paint job run you?

 

I got a killer deal on it. I did all the body work myself, sanding, filling, sanding and wet sanding (Did I mention sanding?). The only thing I didn't do was the welding to fill the 3 piece spoiler holes and the painting. I got a new windsheild too as it was cracked. (Thanks to insurance company but I had to pay my $250 Deductible) All in all I spent $1175.00. The actual paint was the most expensive part. If I recall it was $149 a quart That's not including the primer and the clear. I will never do that again as It took all of my free time last summer. But it was fun and I learned allot.
