nice car but the wing is a bit much.

 

agreed don't like the wing but i love that color that is my favorite color on a stock dsm.i say 2g tubro wing 97+up would look at lot better. what did you do to your rims? are the polished or powercoated or does you camera just suck? nice car bro welcome

 

One more. Just can't wait to get to FL. Will be finishing out the summer here and heading to Tampa in Oct. Thanks for the warm welcome.

I like the wing. But hey I understand. The rims are the stockers. I polished them and then taped them off and had the centers powdercoated in Black. Wanting to get a CF hood, FMIC and 18's. So I have my goals for when I reach florida.

So 18'3s are not good on a AWD? I'm new to allot of this. Hoping some of you can get me on the right path. I have done all the stage 1 mods so to speak. K & N Conical Filter, 1G BOV, Dejon Tool UICP, Additional UICP, Greddy LICP, MBC, Boost Gage, Re-wired Fuel Pump, KYB AGX struts, Eibach Pro Kit Springs, Green Stuff Brake Pads, N1 Style eExhaust, Test Pipe Blitz Turbo timer and not to mention the free mods that is about it. Hoping to take it to the next level but now sure where exactly I want to go with it. It is my Daily driver. Might just change the wing out when I get there as I have caught so much crap for it. I liked it at first but the Turbo wing is the nicest looking IMO. I got rid of my clear tails as it just didn't look right. I want to go for the smooth look.

 

Not exactly, but spending money on 18" wheels & tires when you want to go fast should be the last thing on your list. Put the money into your new turbo, afc, front mount, etc. Everyone in this thread has been pretty welcoming so far, but the local DSM boards and folks will probably stereotype you and not give you any help if you show up with 18" wheels and a big wing, even if you do have good intentions of going fast. History has shown around here that people who focus on those types of cosmetic things don't have fast cars.

 

nothing wrong with 18s but if i were you i'd get ahold of a turbo wing and put it on.
