i love my eclipse i love racing and i drive it great i was just wondering what you guys think the best shift point was threw gears?let me know. thanx

thats a good question...to be honest w/ you, i don't know what rpm's i'm at through my shifting...i guess i just listen to the engine and kinda "feel" out when that gear is gonna plataeu (i can't spell) then i continue the shift....anyone in here know the correct answer?? i guess it may make a difference if we knew the mods and type of dsm (awd, fwd, etc)

I remember reading somewhere about the best "shift points" for our cars, (at least in stock or near stock trim)...if I can find it, I'll post it up.

my tsi on the stock turbo seems best to shift around 6500, anything else is wasting rev, bigger turbo's, you shift as high into the powerband as it allows....turbo size is a big part of it
