Default over heating and boost takes..................

forever to spool, we troubleshot and all the hoses r fine..... he was driving like a fool saturday night and thats when everything messed up.. any help would be good cuz im more of a honda guy and its his dsm...

do a compression test, most likely ya blew a headgasket.

btw its a 99 gst with an 18g greddy and the regular bolt ons.....

be more specific about what the problems are, like what exactly is it doing.

it creeps to boost really slow. everything looked fine under the hood lines wise. the overheating problem is fixed now but the boost problem remains. if you want ill meet you somewhere and ill have him take you for a ride, and you might be able to tell better then we can of the problem....

tell him to take the intake piping off with the engine cool and try to turn the impeller blades with his fingers....it should spin with very very little force.

could be blowing his boost right out of the combustion chamber.....as mike said, check compression for possible blown head gasket

could be that too, or bad rings and he is getting blow by...but the dip stick would probably pop out if that happened. there is a few things it could be...
