Default best place for EVO VIII performance parts

my brother just bought an evo8 and i am a honda turbo guy. so i was wondering a good website or a good local place to find some evo parts, from first looks, i would say U/I pipe, real BOV(im giving him a type s) down pipe, filter or adapter for one, and a decent exhaust.

thanks guys

I believe machv.com specializes in them now also, so check it out. I know they are fairly reputable when it comes to the eclipse and wrx. I personally have never done business with them though.

as much as i dont want to say this: Buschur Racing has the best stuff.

Buschur has been building DSM's and 4G63 powered vehicles since they were NEW... like since 1989. If anyone knows what theyre doing, its Dave and Tym. Buschur doesnt have all the bling bling shit that say, perhaps, Vishnu or whatever. but all of Bushcur's parts are 100% function over form. I dont think ive ever seen something from Buschur that is about the appearance first, and peformance second.

oh, and Machv.com is a distributor for Buschur racing. If you look aroudn their site at the DSM stuff, there is plenty of Buschur-brand parts on there.

MachV prices suck, marked up wayyyy too much, I second the notion to buy from Buschur. I've noticed Road Race has the cheapest parts though.

What does this mean: "real BOV(im giving him a type s)"

If that means you think a greddy type S is a real BOV, think again. If you want a real BOV, get a Tial, TurboXS, HKS, 1G BOV, or anything BUT the Greddy Type S. That thing leaks like no tomorrow AND it sounds like a kazoo.

I have never had a problem with my greddy and know many people who use them that have never had a problem. Personally I like the type s sound over any other bov.

all the other bov's you mentioned are good bov's also.

I too never had a problem with the type-S. Im only running a crushed 1g bov now because of the new intercooler piping. This is the first ive heard of the Type-S "leaking like there is no tomorrow" Back on topic, i dont see the need to change out the BOV on the Evo right away. Sure it looks just like the stock 2g bov, but doesnt the evo run like 19psi stock? It may even be able to hold more than that.

type S's leak? wow, i wonder how much boost i was REALLY running then? ....anyway, buschur has the hot shit deal on the Evo, a 3" turbo back exhaust, s-afc w/ setting to program into it, open element filter, and you WILL dyno 300 whp, and the 3" exhaust sounds NASTY
