that bottom nipple puts pressure/vaccum UNDER the diapraghm, its not a leak. Its used for a few things, one reason Alex mentioned. the other one is to serve as a pop-off valve, like Rotaries use. the boost signal going to the top nipple would apply pressure to the diaphragm to HOLD it shut harder, in conjunction w/ the spring inside. then, the signal UNDER the diaphragm puts boost on it (but i think youre supposed to use a check valve or something; i dnot know, my bottom one is open) and it serves as a source for release during an overboost condition.

the Type S is a great BOV... its practical, sensible and very universal; easy to use, tune and install. Its also very easy to adapt to a system that needs to be Recirculated such as AFM-based intake systems

TurboXS SUCKS, they just plain suck. i hate them and hate the shit they produce. what the fuck is up w/ the 2 different boost controllers... under 1 bar, buy the "cheap" one. Over 1 bar, buy the "expensive" one. that right there sums up their whole quality of product and sense of business... "hey, lets Market a whole separate boost controller for peole who want [air quotes] High boost[/Air quotes] aside from the people who want [air quotes] Low boost[/Air quotes]!" what the fuck is that about... whats wrong w/ the Joe P MBC??? that doesnt require an addendum to run higher boost.

if you want a REAL BOV... get a TiAL. no bones about it, it is the man BOV. nothing you can say or show will out-do a TiAL BOV.

And dont even bring up the fact that its unable to recirculate. cuz if you were a real man and needed this, youd have a Stand-alone or VPC like a few people i know

If you are not going to recirculate the BOV the tial is the way to go. I have known people to have problems with the type s. Also i run 28 psi on a stock 1g bov and it works fine, but when i finaly get a vpc i will go with a tial. If you have to recirculte and dont want to use a 1g bov i would consider the type r bov.

it was my understanding that the greddy was a push pull valve genius, IE 2 vaccum nipples, seriously whats with people saying "greddy suck blah blah blah" when lets see here, heard of eric? Mr 2, he has used the type s and to my knowledge never had any problems whith it leaking when he boosted the dog shit out of the car, so wtf are you people talking about!

I dont think people really believe they suck, just that some people have had problems with the type s and some havent. I have never heard of anyone having problems with the type r or a tial bov.
