What kind of RWHP would an '86 N/A rx-7 that has been Bridge ported,has aftermarket header, y pipe and exhaust put out on a dyno? Also, what kind of times would it do in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile?

 

maybe 170-190 at the wheels.....1/4 mile time low 15's ..I dont know about 1/8 mile time. Thats just a guess.

 

.. A stock port engine will produce 170 with just headers....BP engines will produce around 275 to 300 HP to the ground, assuming you have the correct and needed fuel mods.




My all stock port N/A 88 RX7 ran 14.53 @ 95.. only mod to engine is header and cone filter....rest is stock..

For a BP car.. right around 12.5 QT. if you have the traction and the car isn't too heavy.

 

A well built Bridge port 13b will put out 265hp.

It is very possible only is you use FI. Most times if you got Bport, you balance everything out so it can handle 10 to 16 thousand RPM...

Remember he said B port, and each shop/ person makes their own template for porting, each coutour is different. so each port job is basically custom from shop to shop, unless they buy template, but no shops that I know buys them, they make their own designs.

I have seen engines as long ago as 10 years making 350 plus HP..all N/A in Cameron Worth's shop....

 

I'm sorry but I wish this were true Levi. The 6 port NA engine is not very efficient for high HP numbers. Maybe if he drops a 4 port turbo engine thats been built with high compression rotors and a BP. Every dyno sheet I've seen with NA FC's that had all the bolt-ons and some with big street ports; all were well under 200HP. Most were around 170 with everything you can do without some kind of FI. Oh and I think your car's diet has something to do with your times

I know im about a year late and 50 cent short but got dam you got to be kidding on them estimated HP for a 6 port..

Its HARD to get high HP from a 6 port.and especially bridge porting it,Yes you can bridge port it,but remeber the 5th and 6th ports on top of the main port and the bullshit sleaves..

Theres NO sense on bridge porting a 6 port..
4 port is the way..and I want to see 1 6 port that is bridge,that has good HP gain or 1/4 times..
