Default What is a 475+ rwhp fc3s worth?

I know it's a vague question but just trying to see if what I have in mind is correct. Once the finishing touches are done and tuning, I am looking at 475+ rwhp on a 90' GTU. Clean body and alot of quality parts where used for the build. All parts where purchased new and I have receipts.

^+1. They just don't have any resale value anymore. if you buy and rx7 and put a lot of money into it you better have the intent of keeping the car for ever becuase you will never get anything outta it. shit i'm breaking close to having almost 35k into mine. lol. im going to have this car till it burns to the ground!

4-5k is unfortunately on the high end of what i thought. Im sure you have quite a bit more in it as im around 4k and mines not even running yet....
Best of luck with the tune and future of the car tho, would love to see it out and about sometime

I'm at $15-16K in mine. I'd say $4-5K for a pretty well original car (body, interior, etc) and good quality mods. I bought my TII for $3k from the original owner.

If was to do it all over again, I'd buy an inexpensive NA RX with no sunroof. Save $$ on insurance so you can buy more parts.

I was hoping to be in the $6k range with the parts and hp in the car.I know parting it out will def bring it. I am staying with it for now but money always talks! I am shooting for 500+ rwhp with some new parts I picked up and tuning. I hope it happens. Thanks guys!

You're beyond the point of breaking even in a sale. Tune it, drive it, love it.

Ok curiosity has got me on this. What parts are using for this build? How do you plan on getting over 500+ rwhp? Lets hope the first thing on the list is a new drivers front rim/tire, you won't be doing it on a painted spare rim. Not trying to sound like a dick, I want to help, but your comments have been very vague and its sounds like you just care more whats your car going to be worth than it actually working for a long period of time. Hell I could make my car have 1000 HP it wouldn't last more than 1 pull, but I could do it.

The thing to know right of the bat is 2nd Gens are notorious under priced for a couple reason. Of them being, most FC owners are cheap bastards (owned a FC once). And most FCs have not been in the hand of a good owner so cheap stuff gets done to them ruining the value for the rest of us. Hence why I asked what parts you are using?

Does that mean 240s are actually cheap cars, but are over valued?

You would get more personal value out of your car if you put proper sized tires on the front. Then you could go faster in directions other than straight.
