well for one its an s4 transmission and a s5 frame, i didnt have an s5 crossmember for it he tried to use the s4 one which obviously wouldnt work, and then tried the automatic s5 crossmember which didnt work either so i know one thing i need an s5 crossmember regardless BUT will an s5 crossmember go onto an s4 transmission and align up with the bolts holes the way it should. you would think but by looking at the pictures even with a s5 crossmember it still seems like it wouldnt line up cause the bolt holes are so far back? ive looked everywhere an i cannot find anything that says a vert manual transmission has a crossmember of its own. SO for this reason i have concluded that my best option is to just go ahead and get an s5 trans which i shoulda done in the first place, a better clutch with more grip cause mine is like ebay shit FAIL but w/e, and a s5 crossmember to see if it will line up which hopefully it does. IF FUCKING BETTER AT LEAST

 

well the crossmember im not sure about. I would call mazdatrix b4 shelling out money in random directions to alleviate your issue. But thats just me. If your after a good clutch setup for the NA, there are tons of em out there. Just dont get scammed into paying more $ for a stamp.

the mounting plates are deff different. im not to sure on the trannies being diff but iirc they are the same.
