its funny, i've done more swaps and overall engine work for friends than myself, due to my lack of ability to keep something. i plan on buying a supermoto type bike to get around on while i build this miata.

like you said though, this swap WILL be easy as cake. if all the parts were sitting there im sure this would be a day long affair. its looking like ill only need to fab engine mounts, i guess its more like a cradle though. wiring? nope. tuning? nope.

Well if you do decide to go through with it man, I'm down to help. Modifying the stock cross member to bolt to the stock FB/SA motor mounts should be easy as shit.

might as well get that 12a to hug the firewall too, handling would be awesome.

a buddy of mine did a T2 13b into a miata a couple years ago. was 400+WHP in a miata... needless to say it had traction issues.

im shooting for 350+ after i fix any drive train issues i might have. once it drives smooth with little to no issues ill pick up another 12a block and have it built and ported within an inch of its life, slap a external WG/vband GT2871R, big edlebrock carb conversion and go for gold. later on after being tired of traction issues im sure i can tub the rear and run some 15X12 diamond racing wheels, i think it would still spin them though.

these are all ideas until completed though.

any sort of rubbing, and just unreliability overall.

looks like the tranny well will need some cutting in order for the 12a to sit correctly (not too low) also so the oil filter fits.
