mx6 owners
Sorry guys, I didn't notice this thread before.
In Sarasota, I bought my "newest" mx-6 GT off a member that posted in this thread, Drivermod03.
When I got the car, this thing was ghetto as shit. The charge pipes were zip tied on, the front clip was zip tied on, and had shitty ebay coilovers that completely destroyed the stock AAS struts.
After getting the car, I had to put in a new manual tranny, as the shift gate broke shorty after I got the car. I replaced the struts with almost new (1k miles) AAS struts, eibach prokit springs, and put on some 16" RX-8 wheels.
Recently, I've added on a t-bird hybrid turbo, since the, I guess it's the stock turbo, blew up after 214k miles. Now boosting at 15psi when I don't blow out charge pipe couplers, which are being replaced as they explode. Oddly enough, rubber plumbing fittings that the previous owner(s) put on aren't made to hold pressure.
This car has been amazingly reliable to me so far. Lots of fun to drive when charge pipes aren't blowing holes in themselves
Currently has a TD04 off a Grand National w/ Custom Log Manifold and external wastegate waiting to be installed with 440cc injectors...

I guess it's pretty obvious, but I haven't gotten around to fixing that front bumper yet...
There's a couple mx-6's in the junkyard, I just don't have the time to get there and take one off...

people are making over 300whp with the STOCK KL06 and an ebay turbo kit.
Cheap, easy power. All you have to do is invest in trannys... A lot of them.
