-installed a traditional spin-on oil filter block. i never liked the new cartridge style ones, and the monkeys at the oil change place rounded off the plastic piece anyways, so i was unable to change it. much better now, makes oil changes twice as fast. also, thank you mazda for making the MZR block with a downward facing oil filter, just like a v8 motor has. (much easier than the sideways facing one on the 240)

-also, did a vacuum and washed it

Had my first dyno run yestreday with my stock 87 n/a fc. 138rwhp with 123 torque. Still need to replace some 20 year old parts like the fuel filter and a few belts. Not bad for a stock beater heh? Has a gutted cat and cone filter.... cant wait to start my 500 budget build. aiming for 220rwhp....

Dam I Was Chekin Tire Pressure Today And My "racing" Valve Stem Caps Wouldnt Come Off, I Finally Got Three Off But The Last One Turns With Everything Including The Stem...
No More Reacing Parts For Me.... Lol

^ you tightened the cap too much and it's spinning the valve stem.

put hawk brake pads on the FD, all 4. tightened the BOV so it sounds so much cooler lol
