Whats the deal with mazsport? Ive heard they are going out of business because Scott was scamming people, does anyone have any information on this?

It's true, I already did some extensive searching on the matter vie Rx8Club.com and found out a lot of stuff. Basically he's been scamming lots of people by just doing bad business i.e. holding off on jobs for months or even years and producing parts that never truely worked and lots of other things. He was also sued/in the process of a lawsuit because he had one guy's rx8 for 2.5 years promising to do a 20b swap in it for 25-30grand and ended up never doing it and when the guy finally took his car back Scott had sold a bunch of parts off the car that totalled around 5k+ i think. Basically check out the Rx8club.com for more info on it. People are going nuts because the one guy posted everything about his lawsuit and all the info on it and now everyone who had been in bad business with them is coming out and they even made a post recently where everyone could list how they got scammed/and or the amount of work or money Mazsport owes them.
PS-I heard it from Jeff at Meztech when I picked my FD up a few weeks ago.
Nutshell---Guy sues Mazsport for scaming him out of more than 39,000.00 dollars...

I find that my car has been ripped up inside and out. Scott sold LOT of my OEM stuff and ALL my aftermarket engine stuff. Engine mounts weren't even in. Fuel modules, all sensors, fans, coolers, etc. etc. I had are all gone. There's NOTHING after the downpipe which is hitting the subframe incidentally. I call him up immediately and tell him I'll be starting up a thread about this transaction. Scott then immediately tells me that he'll make it right.
then they decided to generously credit me for all aftermarket stuff that they sold off the car (after taking off 30% for their ebay listing service) and applied ALL the credit toward Scott's paycheck WITHOUT my permission. I still haven't heard anything about missing OEM parts or my aftermarket stuff I can still use with 20b.
I'm still waiting for Scott to send me my RX8 oem parts, 20b oem parts, and stuff he charged me for already like the shifter linkage, mounts, etc, which I still don't have. He's dragging it again.

ive always had some weird feeling about him. i just never wanted to say anything. im glad i never took my car to him.

I had a set of headers ceramic coated at a place in Seminole, and the guy was thanking me for being cool and patient, and I was like, "No sweat, I know how auto work can be for you guys, shit comes up." Then he started griping about how some guy Scott that owns Mazsport is the worst case, always doing business with them and is a total pain in the ass and a dick, and I was thinking, "Wow, everyone I've run into through Mazdas seems to love tossing his name around."
