i got a couple questions about engine swapping, on the 2.0 swap will the 1.5L intakes manifold hook up to the 2.0 and will the radiator out of the 1.5L keep the engine cool and also will the mazda 3 2.3L engines drop into a 96 protege

 

if you are planning on doing a 2.0L drop into ur second Gen....honetly don't bother...unless your going to put forged internals into the engine and turbo it.

you would be better off swapping in a 1.8bpT engine into your car.

but to answer your questions

no to the 1st 2. and if you got the money for the fabrication of parts...getting the 2.3L from a 3 into the Protege may be possible....but it probably would cost you a butt load of money.

research into swapping a 1.8 bp motor or even a 1.8bpt into the car.
