i bought a new battery for my 88 rx7 the other day and installed it wrong i check my fusees and the 80A was blown so i replaced that but the car still wont start. but it does have some power the lights work, the hazzard the dome lights and brake lights but everything els does not work........do you have any suggestions

No reason to panic. Remember the simple things you need for a car to start. Fuel, power, and air. You have power right? So is it turning over? Perhaps the starter is dead? Perhaps the fuel pump isnt working. Give us more info.

I did that to my 87 rx7 about 7 years ago... The starter spun backwards because of the reverse polarity (therefore the gear didn't pop out and turn the motor over). After a few mins I could smell burnt circuit board smell from inside my cabin (gauge cluster). All other fuses good? I know there's an FI fuse isn't there? I dunno man, all I remember was the car became an electrical gremlin nightmare for me the next 5 years that I owned it. Till I ripped all wiring out and turned it into a drag car.
