Drip drip Drip
when my 88 N/A FC is turned off the over flow for the coolant drips a good amount out...I go and pop the hood and the coolant hoses are solid stiff full of air. Why is is doing this ?

Sounds like it is over filled...
Flush the system and burp it. Make sure you do not over fill it and you should be good as new.

It is not. To burp the system you simply squeeze the coolant hoses to free any air bubbles trapped in them.
