Isn't putting a rotary in a piston car taking out the soul, though?

Yeah it's an Ariel Atom. In the UK they come with Honda motors that up out 300hp, here in the states the started selling them with Chevy SS motors... -_-

Check this video out and imagine the cars sporting a 13b.

^That's not just in the states, that's worldwide. Once the information, research, price and availability of the Ecotec neared what they had for the K20, the Ecotec proved to be a superior motor so they stuck with it. They just happened to make the transition around the same time as they started selling them stateside. The Honda motor is still available as an expensive option for diehard VTEC'ers. The advantage is no surprise really, given that the Ecotec was designed with a S/C on there already.

Hmm interesting... still want one, it's the ultimate track day car. I know they are street legal in the UK, is it even possible to make one street legal here (doesn't a vehicle have to be crash test rated before it becomes street legal in the states)? As for a 13b rotary engine in an atom, total possible, it would just require loads of custom fabrication. The advantage would be a lighter motor with higher top end potential in a 500 kilogram car. MR Rotary Atom.

Like I said, its a very nice go kart. Not a car.

It would wup ass on the track, and while it may technically be legal (think about the T-rex......although it actually has a roof) it would be highly impractical on the street.

I wonder what will happen first...you getting your Atom, or Landon getting his FD......
