Has anyone ever heard of or seen someone swap in the jdm Bot 1.8 turbo into a miata???

waste of money and it wont fit, the intake and exhaust manifolds are completely wrong for a rwd application and you'd need an ecu to run it anyways.

why would you do it when the car already has the same 1.8L BP engine and bunches of turbo setups already made for it?

can find the turbo'd jdm engine cheaper with ecu and everything cheaper then a turbo set-up would cost plus the miata i have to play with is 1.6 right now

and how much is your magical jdm engine that wont fit?

why not start off with the Greddy turbo kit? Its a total piece of shit but its only $1200 brand new....
