FC Electrical Problem and Gremlins
well here we go again...you're only as strong as your weakness...and we've all dealt or are dealing with some type of electrical problem in our fcs which unfortunately is what a few onwers have to gripe about...what i'd ask from you guys is to come up with a list of problems what causes these problems and is there a reliable way to address them and permanetly solving them without having to elimate the components or attempting shit that borders on rocket science...for example our wiper switches lol lets see what you guys have thanks
wiper switches is one of the most common FC problems. Its intermitten.Theres a guy on rx7club?If you send yours,he will fix it.
I have about 2-3 spare switches here, but dont know if all the speeds work.

My wiper switch works fine.
However, my horn does not work - Solder joints in the CPU board in the driver's side kick panel. Easy to fix really, im just lazy.
the dreaded 3800RPM hesitation - Grounding on the pressure sensor and other engine control stuff. Solution - Reground the pressure sensor, ECU, injectors, coil packs, etc. to the neg terminal on the battery. This sounds like a pain in the ass. I'm going to try just re-grounding the pressure sensor (this is what the mazda service recall says to do) and see how well that works.

go on rx7club.com and look up Icemark, thats his name. Hes one of the top 3head honcho FC moderator guys, 15,000+posts. He fixes any FC switch for wayyyy less then the cost of a new one (I think it's $40). But he resolders all the parts in the switch so It should never mess up again. You just send him a private message, tell him whats up then you'd just send him your part (pretty sure he lives in washington state). Hes a stand up guy along with aaron cake and ReTed in the 2nd gen section of rx7club, which they've all helped me at one time or another with rotary know-how.
+1 on icemark
Most of the eletrical problems are due to bad connections. My horn for instance works sometimes, my wipers work on low but everything else works on minus a couple lights on my idiot bar. Also check fuses they could be a problem. All easy fixes if you have sodering equipment which you can get at any local hobby shop.
