Default Turbo Conversion

I am thinking of making my car turbo. Maybe I will swap the motor during next summer. Or I could sell my car and buy a Turbo II. If not I could get the motor ported next summer. I want some information. If I will do the swap then I want all The 13BT motor, its tranny, and the LSD. What would be a good place to find a motor that is running or blown? Since the motor will be outside I could rebuild it, and fix the tranny seals. I just want information, and some advice.
Thank you

1)Stay with s5 13BT

2)Keep in mind.. if you port,You should/will need to go.
Bigger injectors
Better fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator

Bigger Turbo
FMIC
BOV
Waste Gate

Thats just for add ons.
Engine/tranny/drive shaft/rear end/Engine harness/computer/fuel pump is about the basic items you need for the swap

Go J spec, and just throw the stock engine in,you have to much to worry about, and not really much mechanical knowledge to do it on your own.You have so much to swap, and its your only car and a DD.

The S5 NA and S5 TII harness are the same
you just have to move the BAC connector.

How much for the S5 NA motor once you pull it?

I was only planning, that is if I have money next summer I will probably swap it, or just buy a TII car, or port my motor. If I do the swap I will probaly just add an air filter and exaust mods, like exaust manifold, straigh pipe not cat, a 3 inch muffler, and a radiator. For now I will do suspension mods 1st.

with a 3" exhaust, intake, and all that on a turboII motor i think you need to get an FCD or an upgraded or chipped ECU. otherwise it'll boost higher and fuel cut.

Yeah I forgot the FDC and upgraded ECU, When it boost higher the fuel cut kicks in and shut down the car right. Is that how it works?

My brother in law knows someone who is selling a white S4 Turbo II. He said he would trade his car for mine, but he wants $1500 extra beside the car.

no it cuts fuel to one rotor (stupid mazda) and shakes like crazy
FCD's can actually cause more problems than good - they trick the ECU into thinking it's running less boost and it doesn't adjust timing correctly

So it cuts fuel to one rotor, and you only run on one rotor. The FCD messes your engine's ignition timing right. So the chipped ECU would be better or worse?

You will still need to run a FCD,If you are seriuos of doing this swap, dont wait to buy it all at once..

Buy items here and there,or when ever you find it.
Start off with,
the rear end...
drive shaft...
Clutch,
Fuel pump...
afc/ or standalone

One question I got it,alot of S5 dont come with 4 piston calipers in the front, does your?If you dont know how to identify them, single pistion calipers wont say Mazda on the outside of them.4 piston will
