don't get me wrong I'm not raggin on the rx8's, good cars if you have the money to spend. Just sayin that a very nice TII cost 1/8th the cost of a new rx8 which gives you ALOT of money for performance and exterior. Trust me, I'm not a straight line guy I just like to have the ability to beat the 18year old "z28" lover.

i dont have a problem with the s2000 but i know it's a nice+fast car and all but.....
first, it doesnt seat 4 ppl.
second, it's convertible which means ppl can get a kindergarden scizzors/oj simpson dagger and rip the convertible to get into my car. haha trust me that happened to my neighbor which someone took their seats, i think steering wheel and everything inside that car.

 

i beleive that if you're a family man and like some nice speed while u take ur kids to school. this is ur car. its a great all around car. however, you definitely dont get enough for what you pay for it.

 

The man wants 4 seater capabilities with a joyride. I don't have much experience with cars as Im young and havent had the pleasure to enjoy more than a few. Theres plenty of 4 door fun to be had with some of the benzes, bimmers, audis,volvos etc.. but they come at a price. I on the other hand believe it is a good car for it's base price. Some ppl hate to hear it but I belive the RX8 is the perfect 4door family sport rocket. It makes taking the kids to school hella fast and fun like ray said. Its looks rival the looks of those in its class. It seems like it can give you great everyday drivability while functioning as a weekend autocrosser as long as it's maintained right. Bottom line, if I were to go out and buy a new 4 door family good all around car, this would prob be it. My second choice would be the faster G35 but I think it's pricier.

 

The RX8 is not worth the money.

Basically if your jusdt looking for a reliable 4 door hard top car.Theres so many to choose from.Shit id buy a Mazda6 before an 8.The looks of an 8,never got to me.. and the 4 door thing reminds me of a Saturn.

 

no one has even mentioned the turbokits you can now buy for your rx8. http://www.turbokits.com/rx-8_turbo_kits.html if i where ever to get one this would be the first thing i bought. most people gets fcs cause their too broke to afford fds. if you can afford an rx8 then you can afford to get a 3-7k turbo kit.

 

The new top end mazda6 is going to be awd 280hp turbo 4. I know that bitch is going to be running with the evo's, thats what their making it for.

 

most every review of the rx8 talks about how fun it is to drive and how great it feels. yes its not that fast in a straight line, but that doesnt mean that its not really fun to drive. ive only ridden in one, and it was soo smooth even at 9000 rpm, quiet, solid feeling. for the people saying to get a turbo fc, maybe some people dont want a near 20 yr old car and are willing to spend the money. it sucks, but a lot of the parts for fcs are no longer available, or are soon going to be no longer available. also, chicks dig rx8s.
