yes, almost all rotaries will belch smoke (black or white) when gunning it at WOT after shifting. (correct me if im wrong rotorheads). Mine has almost 200,000 miles and still running strong. My oil seals just needs to be replaced soon, that is all, no biggie.

 

oh and btw levi, i still have my cats. it will be taken out by next year though.

 

Yeah joe i understand that but those oil seals are bad and your car is smoking a bunch that was what i was refering to. Levi is just trying to make me loko like i have no clue what i am talking about

 

Thats because in the first page of your owners manual it says the engine will burn 1 quart every 500 miles...


If it only smokes under WOT, the seals are not the problem, or it would smoke all the time...but Tony would know, I hope.
