I like the performance of the new RX8, but the body is just sooo ugly. I'm hoping they come out with some body kits really quick so I can buy an RX8 then fix the designer's errors.

I realize a second is a world of a difference however I wasn't calling the times comparable I was referring to the cars themselves. The engines. The horsepower. The torque. The weight. The price. A car at that price with those times is impressive for the engine size. Would you rather spend $45 on a 13s car or $30 on a 14s car. I think most of us would agree on the 14s car. You can do alot with 15 grand. And with the turbo coming out in two years it'll smoke the competition.
Yes you are right....go mazda rx8 and spend 15k on it.

John they do make a factory body kit you can get with the car. But I agree with you, I'm not feeling the body.
I'll wait for the rx7 to come back Which I think is going to happen in 2005!!!!

MP5girl just take your car for a swim in the ocean......I'm sure insurance will total it. then you can go get a rx8

I thought about it but then insurance would go up.

And I somewhat agree on the styling. It's a beautiful car but they could have done a teeny bit better by stocking it with a spoiler and nice kit. It's a tad plain. But with that 15 grand that's easily fixed

Have you found one? If not I can keep an eye out for you. My friend just picked up a VERY clean one for $1000 but w/o an engine.

I already posted the badass R Magic kit for it. With that kit, I think the 8 is very nice looking.

I'd consider one if they weren't overpriced. For 30k ish the G35 Coupe > RX-8 in every way.

Have you driven the RX8? Road and track rated the rx8 better than the Cobra and G35:o

But personal opinion is your opinion.
what did you think of your test drive of the rx8???
