This has been an on going thing and for a time it has lost it's steam just like the entire car scene for a while.

Well, it's slowly been on the comeback. A couple car clubs meet up such as StukMode and Tampa Bay's Subaru Club.

Summer is back and so lets see if we can get this back as a dialed in event/meet for TR members every week.

I'm always there along with many other TR members, OG and new ones.

If we get the turn out to be as good as the old days, We can have an actual car show including live voting for Ride Of The Month as well as
actual best over-all cars ect with prizes.

All that we ask is that none of the "typical" car meet infractions take place:
ie- Burnouts, Alcoholic Beverages in the Parking lot, fighting ect.. Common Sense Required.

 

I'll try to make it out there. Quick question; I know the classic car meet is earlier in the day, but would you mind if we brought our classic car to this meet as well? Or should we stick to the Nissans?

This meet would "start" around 8:30PM until close.....

I usually bring my 69 Toyota but sometime show up with other cars I own to mix it up.

Parking lot is well lit so no room for sneaky haters... lol

 

Sounds good. My dad will probably follow me up with his Edsel so I figured I better make sure it's okay.

 

That would be great. There are usually a bunch of guys with camera but I'll start bringing my DSLR and take shots every week and then post them up in the Roll Call Threads...
I have some of my "rides" in my sig. I have others that are not on the list and are being finished up so they'll be showing up too.
It's a pretty good blend of people already - from classics, to rides on hydros to high HP imports.
It can only get better so spread the word. I'll make it easy to meet me and I'll wear my TR shirts when I get there.

The last thread went waaay of topic with your posting up of OTHER events and locations. Then the posting up of WTB: post pretty much was the nail in the coffin.

Just to give YOU a heads up, im going to be maintaining and monitoring this subforum to avoid any needless confusion and unnecessary chatter.....

 

I usually go out there for the old cars from about 6-8. I love the old cars, plus my 2 year old is with me on Thursday nights while my wife is working. Haven't been out in a while because it's the same group of cars all the time. However I may just have to keep my little one out past his bedtime so we can check out the import scene. The wife doesn't need to know he wasn't in bed by 9.

 

Weather is looking nice for tonight. Hot as hell but no rain in sight right now.

On a side note, anyone coming from US 19 near Gandy should hit the new car wash in front of Wal Mart. Just opened and has free car washes today. Was gonna stop after work but it was a little backed up. Might go later.
