I started going again. I went last week as well, seemed pretty good, hung out with some of the stang guys up front til about 9 then headed out back to hang with the import guys till 1130ish. I have the black 2013 5.0 with silver stripes.

 

You ever take your MR2T to the meets? Perhaps I should bring out my yellow hardtop sometime...

 

How many people attend this thing? what exactly goes on never been to a meet before, people don't actually race do they?

 

It's a good size meet. The classic cars meet in the front, imports in the back. And people just park there cars and look at other cars.

 

No racing goes on. As stated above, classics are out front from about 5-8. Then the imports take over the whole back lot. Basically just a bunch of people hanging out and having a good time. Plus it's at a restaurant so you can go inside and grab a burger, wings, salad, soda, beer, whatever you want. It's a fun time if even just to get to know other people in the area. Last week I would estimate about 60 cars.

 

that's quite a few cars, ever see any Ferrari's or McLarens?

 

Not really.. you can see those at the monthly cars n coffee at Dupont Registry

 

Plus at the Reeves Cars and Coffee the first Saturday of every month.

 

What's the usual turnout for these? I wouldn't mind stopping by the next one.

 

It's a pretty good size show. It's worth at least checking it out. You'll most likely return.
