12th Annual Florida CR-X Meet @ Old Town

Come celebrate our 12th Anniversary in 2012!

Join us on Saturday, November 17th from 10am to 4pm at Old Town for some fun and help out Johnny's Angels/ Children's Hospice.

Entry fee for cars is only $8.00 and as always ALL Hondas and Acuras are welcome!

This year we will have tickets to Disney World to be given away to some lucky person as well as tickets to other local attractions!

Mission: To help out Children's Hospice by raising funds and awareness

Company Overview: Starting off as a casual gathering back in 1999, the Official Florida CR-X Meet held it's first event in 2000 at Race Rock in Orlando, Florida. Since then we have raised thousands of dollars to help local charities through out Central Florida. This year we are celebrating our twelveth anniversary and returning back to Old Town in Kissimmee, Florida! In 2010 we joined up with Johnny's Angels (HOME - Johnny's Angels: Depp Fans For Charity™) and Children's Hospice to help raise funds for this worthy charity.

I know Ken wanted to experiment with holding this annual meet on a Saturday instead of
Sunday, as it has been traditionally done for years.

How was the turnout? I had Saturday commitments........

Was he pleased enough with the results that he said anything about preferring
a Saturday or Sunday for 2013? -Bob

The event went well. The event had over 23 CRX's showing and 32 cars over all. There was more than $500 raised for the charity and a group from Miami drove up. There was a glitch in space scheduling but that was due to Old Town and was resolved.
