The NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals Series starts its season over the weekend of March 15-18, 2012, with the 10th Annual Ross Racing Pistons NMRA Muscle Car Nationals Featuring the Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge, scheduled to take place at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida. As this is the first race of the season, the Northern-based competitors are chomping at the bit to feel some warm weather and get the racing season started. As usual, the NMRA will start off the weekend with a pre-race Hooters party at the Hooters of Bradenton, which is always a fun time - after all, who can pass up, beer, wings, and girls in skimpy socks?This event will feature one of the season's largest turnouts, with racers showing up to compete in each of the NMCA's eleven classes, plus a large contingent of True Street racers and the five classes full of LSX racers taking part in the Chevrolet Performance Parts LSX Challenge. In 2011 at this event, ARP Nostalgia Pro Street racer Jeff Colletta debuted an all-new car, Bob Kurgan ran the quickest pass in CFE Xtreme Street history with an awesome 7.85, and Kooks Pro Street maniac Chris Rini was able to card an unreal 6.03 blast at over 234 mph!
