1) Sunshine is located in Clearwater, so it is definitely not a "Tampa track." People who live in the northern parts of the bay area do have at least an hour of driving depending on traffic.

2) I would feel pretty safe in saying that this post is indirectly hurting Sunshine Raceway. When someone likes you makes a post like this, import enthusiasts could, at the least, feel unwelcome or uncomfortable.

3) From the people I've met with "fast" or even "quick" imports, they are respectable, and don't really care what some guy is saying in a stupid call out on the internet, if anything, they would be turned away from it because they don't want to deal with that kind of bullshit. They're not being pussies or hiding, they just don't want to put up with immaturity on this level.

I will personally not be there for a multitude of reasons, some being those and others because I don't like drag racing. My car is slow, and I have no problem admitting it. You would probably consider me a ricer because I would rather make my daily driver look the way I want it that have unnecessary power. Different strokes for different folks, I could care less what you think, so do your self a favor and don't make a direct reply to me because, although I will most likely read, it will be to get a laugh more than anything.

 

yes im out of my normal personality mode for this thread but I want to prove a point. This site if full of keyboard cowboys that bench race other people's cars in their heads. I want to see who will come out and actually race. Im not gonna pick on your little hondas. We got cobalts and focuses and even a stock volvo that always comes out if you are truly lawnmower powered. For those that say it takes no skill to race in a straight line I say you are scared and dont know how to drive. If you have a true road racing machine you know this isnt your scene, but wanna be drifters and the i went auto crossing once guys are the norm here and I am tired of all the crap.

 

you my friend are a clown. i just might show up in my stock integra with the bad tps and camber worn tires. i'll also have a bag of cookies, so that when i make my crazy fast 15 sec passes and you run whatever times you run with your floppy shoes, red nose and face paint (because you're a clown). i'll give you not just one, but the whole bag of cookies. then you can feel accomplished and hopefully the clowning can come to an end. seriously, if you want to enjoy yourself at the track and invite other enthusiasts to have a good time as well, be an adult about it. this is not the way to get people to the track. clowns are for our entertainment, we laugh and then we forgot about them. once again, you, my friend are a clown.

 

The track is going to have a good turnout on the 17th wether the rice comes or not. Imports are welcome as this track is a good place to learn how to launch. I am not trying to turn anyone away but the excuses you guys give are hilarious. It is your car, do with it what you like. If this is not the Tampa track which one do you suggest? I live closer to BMP but I like sunshine because the people are friendly and you get a lot of runs in (not many people were out when I have been there). The main point of this call out is that on a site with racing in the name most people here would rather give excuses then run their ride.

 

the fact that your car is so crappy is why you wont race? You lowered it too far and wore out the tires? There are too many excuses in this post for me to sift through. Ok, your car sucks and you wont be there, next.
