Well in all fairness I know Branden had a crank that he had knife-edged and needed it balanced. He took it to Bi-Lo and they fucked it up bad, I'm pretty sure they did it in house. If Chris has someone his Uncle uses I would recommend trying them. They have 8,000 RPM 2,500 hp big blocks holding together so balancing is very important to them.

Well machine work is one thing, having them assemble it is another. I personally want to put my hands on everything that is going together and be able to double and triple check everything. There is a reason they are called a machine shop and not an engine shop.

i trust dave to hot tank and press the pistons, i guess what im worried about is the crank. i mean you kinda have to take there word for it that it was properly balanced.

nope the rsx is a daily now runs like a champ! great gas milage. I got lucky and found a crank and matching rods on k20a.org for $300 and assembled myself
I would never have anyone assemble a motor for me i just dont trust people I mean if they fuck it up its not theres so they dont care.
