Or start fixing stuff that is not the engine, until everything else works, and then

Seriously the worst advance I have ever heard

Wiring is best left to a professional

you end up with a butt connected, wire nutted, electrical tapped fucking nightmare cluster fuck when people start fucking with there own shit.

LMAO jd.

Senor Honda- I would think most people would want a good running car, so the engine would be the first thing i would start on. looks do not bother me, i would rather have either a good running car or a fast car than a car that has 4grand into body work and a stock motor.. just my thoughts!

and for your genral rule, i kind of got screwed on this car, i bought it as my first honda, regardless i already have the car so thinking about the decision i made of buying it would not help me one bit. so i might as well move forward and start getting the car up to par, running good and then finish off later on with a swap of choice. This is my first honda so i was not to sure on what to look for, most of the hacked wiring was in loom so i did not see it but i started pulling electrical tape and loom off today and found a dam rats nest.

Anyways thanks JD, I will be seeing you tuesday forsure.

Solo,
Gosh, did I ever misunderstand.
I thought that you wanted to learn as you fixed it yourself and were asking how to do that.
In every manual I ever looked in, there was a wiring diagram, as well as bunches of info
on the internet of how people solved wiring problems.

I also thought the wiring was messed up as the result of an engine swap.
Most of the time the stock engine in a stock car with a stock ECU is not messed up
and does not contain hacked wiring.

Trex, I wasn't trying to take away business from you.
I didn't realize that when a person fixed something themselves, that it was
mandatory that the owner create a:
"butt connected, wire nutted, electrical tapped fucking nightmare cluster fuck"

The most trusted professional for electrical wiring is the factory. My imagination says they have unhacked wiring harnesses at the dealer's.

Good luck gentlemen. Solo, keep us posted on what you go through
and what it takes to fix it.-Bob

Its cool senor, I have gone through and repaired my share of wiring, even gone behind some "professionals" having to fix there mistakes. It rare to see good clean swaps anymore.

Your right, none of the other Techs at Honda even owned a soldiering gun lol

We where however trained not to splice anything, especially SRS connections. If it wasnt repairable by repinning it than an entire harness had to be ordered

My swap/tucked harness have no splices, they are re routed, depinned, shortened/lengthened, re loomed, re pinned
