Because of people like you is because I posted this long ass novel... because you talk shit about me the tuner but you dont see the hole story.... why you dont go ahead and post pictures of that s2000 you are talking about for everybody to see.... I tune a lot of sucessful s2000 and I used to own 3 s2000 my self... The car you are talking about look like a car that came out of the junk yard and put together by a little kid. I wish I took pictures so you can all see the kind of work that they did on this car... I havent seen a worst car before... I cant believe people can do this to an s2000... The car had a blow of valve out of a turbo car from the junk yard, metal pipings that looked like shit, A 4 INCH LONG DOWN PIPE (that I was not able to install the dyno wideband because of this reason), all type of wrong vacumm hoses in the engine bay... ect ect etc.... It was a HOLE MESS... In the passenger seat had all hot dogs and all meat just seating there that I was afraid of even getting inside of this car... I don't even want to talk about the exterior of the car...... it was crazy I will never forget that day!!!! The guy drove like 4 hours to the shop with this total mess..... ONCE AGAIN I WAS TRYING TO DO A FAVOR TO ATLEAST MAKE HIS CAR DRIVEABLE SO HE COULD GO BACK HOME AND FIX HIS CAR... the car did not evenmake more than 2-3 psi.... so if he fix that later who knows what was going to happen.... if he did fix it... who knows if he was stepping on the car the hole way back even though that I told him not to do it.... BUT DON'T WORRY IS THE TUNERS FAULT.....

Not to mention it had a custom 2k+ diff installed, this was not a BS car. Had all the parts to make north of 450 whp all day
And the downpipe?? Give me a fucking break I run this on my car.... NeedsWings SRT4 / GT Cruiser Exhaust Dump . His downpipe was in similar dimension. My car is tuned PERFECTLY. Having just a downpipe over a full 3 inch exhaust doesn't effect the cars ability to be tuned as long as the wideband is properly placed in the pipe. Why the hell didn't you just REMOVE his AEM UEGO SENSOR (you know the sensor that's ALREADY IN THE PIPE?? and gives ACCURATE AFR readings on the UEGO??) and install the shop wideband?? WTF were you paid to do?? I guess all that was too much work?? Especially on a car without a full exhaust??
I'm not some idiot who has no clue as to what goes into tuning a car..So you can't throw some BS at me like you did him. The car had QUALITY parts. Who gives a damn whether his charge piping was SS polished or fucking not?? That doesn't affect the cars performance or ability to be tuned at all. Only thing preventing the car from running properly was a faulty wastegate. CFT agreed to a free retune and well it's been like what 3 months since?? You have no way to honestly justify that
The car couldn't even cold idle after you gave it back to him. I guess a bad wastegate and not having a full exhaust caused that?? I personally leakdown tested & compression tested that car and it blew 250 across all cylinders consistently so there was NOTHING mechanically wrong with that engine...Car didn't idle cause it had no cold start tune simple as that...what did he pay for??
His car was simply dirty on the outside and needed cleaning but somehow that ended up in him getting shafted for his tune at CFT
Even if the car was in such a condition as you claim (highly exaggerated IMO) to not be tuned...why did you take his money and return him with nothing?? Wouldn't the RIGHT thing to do be to return this customer home without even touching his car??

I don't really care to argue with you...cause CFT will never touch my car so I couldn't care any less what kind of shady work you stand behind but there was nothing wrong with that car aside from a faulty wastegate. The BOV was a DSM BOV...big fucking deal so it didn't have a 200 dollar synapse synchronic or some BS..Not everyone that brings you their S2000 has 3000 dollar hard tops and 5000 dollar CCW wheels. Does that mean they should get the run around after handing you over their money?? No

lol he went to orlando during the middle of the day and when I get home for the day I'm really not looking to tune anyones car...even my own. He went to a reputable shop because well those people make their living doing that; I do not.

It's like someone that does something in their off time for close friends and themselves. When he wanted his car tuned I didn't have the time so I told him to try Mase Vega or CFT. In all actuality I was going to tune the car; just not when he wanted.
But that is neither here nor there...they took his money without giving him a tune. So I was just posting my experience for anyones future reference of CFT

^the problem i see if wastegate is bad there's no reason to even try to tune the car period.
in this case the custoner should not get charged ,or get to come for a retune.
