To be 100% honest with you building a car for Import Face Off is a waste of time unless all the shit talking on here got you hyped up for it. But, if that's the case just go to Import Face Off an see how many people that were talking shit actually show up an run their car.

The payouts are garbage . NSCRA is worth building something for.

k20a is still 5500.00 from hmo shipped.

even a type s swap is around 3500 local? then you need a 750-1000 diff. everyone switches to the RBC bandwagon & so on

k24 is the same way your huntin down all these small parts to make it work or fit.it all will add up.sure you can get it cheaper maybe 8k ish....

well i somewhat take back the top part of what i said of not being a B left if that was the case. cuz i thought about it you are right its about the price of building a B .but also hardly anyone in this are has a built B.from start to finish of buying a B swap, mounts to get it in & running.lets say a gsr thats always a good starting platform about 3500ish . a ported & built head about 3k the block is another 3k good clutch & flywheel 1k a good header 1300.00 .ported intake manifold 500 after the fact you have to buy a blox skunk or oem itr is another 2-300.well im sure theres still another grand or more im missing but its a start.thats over 11k right there & your looking at a 14.1 or more cr motor & has to be rebuilt every season so its worthless as a fun street car & still only making 230 whp lol

or you can get a stock b18a for a couple hundreds boosted cheap and be at 300 plus hp.lol

oh for sure. but were talking built Bs vs a K swap.
even a built B turbo takes same money plus even more for a proper turbo setup.

you could do a k swap & do 700 + on stk motor now days soo theres no debating over K vs B nomore ....
