It's funny how people say that but they really don't know . . .

Most of you have not driven a low 10 sec car, let alone a 12 or 13 sec car. Street and track are not the same animal. Most, not all, but most NY racers have way to much drama for my taste.

Fast car and I'm sure with that high stall TH400 3 speed non-locking converter they get great gas miliage on long road trips!

yeah we really wont know cuz you guys didnt run. so how is that funny?????
& i have drove 10 sec cars & bikes & if you notice i said it wont hook for shit.
i know the street is not the same animal hence why i said it wont hook.

Hopefully this doesn't create an argument...
I'm lookin into clutches and I'm wondering what the risk/benefit is of using a lighter weight clutch and flywheel? I've noticed some sites saying lightweight aluminum components are for competition only and not for street, does anyone know why?
And does anyone have any opinions on centerforce clutches?

it all depends on what you are doing.
all motor i would recomend light flywheel
on a boosted car i would run stock flywheel reason you dont want to rev too fast boost is like a vagina the longer you stay in the better it is.got it

centerforce makes good clutch

Where did you get that INFO from on the flywheel lb's ???? I was just woundering.. but you know me i do my own thing. An about to be on top once agane.


Hey pual the CFT red EG civic... B18 GSR... They siad they will never go K,. thats why they got the Blue SI... any ways CFT an Speedclinic are going at it an you know what side i got

light weight flywheels will allow the engine to rev quicker but the revs will also fall quicker. as in the engine could bog when up shift from the engine not having enough rotating mass to keep the motor at the optimium rev for smoth shifting
