I am thinking about hosting the meets in Manatee county myself. What I am mainly wondering is if anybody would bother to go to them so i can tell if i should bother setting them up. Let me know what you guys think.

Also for anybody following the Derek thing, I am not an asshole like it looks. I had no problem with him until he brought me into it and was talking shit to me. I have no problem with anybody else but derek.

lets cut through the crap and ask pepboys! I bet if you explained to the manager what you want to do, they would be happy to have it...IMO if you just want a food place..which i usually dont see people eat at the meets, you can get in touch with benigans by the mall, they always want car shows and cruise inns there...they would even be willing to post it on the marque and buy some trophies...

 

Im not feeling the Pep-Boys idea. I am thinking sonic still, just for the open atomosphere and cheap food. I am thinking more of a saturday night.

 

doh...sorry sat nights are out, plus they co incide with alot of car shows... week nights are great, but if i can make 1 or too i will just wont be on saturdays...

 

Well the only reason i was thinking saturdays was because there are already plenty of modified cars at sonic already. I am thinking anything from monday-wednesday, anything besides thursday and friday nights due to test and tune on thursdays and NHRA S.L.D. on fridays. Maybe it should be a monthly meet?

 

or bi weekly i wouldnt go each week...if something is the same everytime it gets old quick but its up to you, you do it and get people there! i dont knock hard work! ill support it when i can

 

I worked at pep boys for a while and i'm good friends with the manager, sorry to say he would never go for the idea, but i would like to have my friends and i go to sonic.
