This thread makes a very valid point and definitely illustrates how imagination is being sucked from the youth as well. I thought up my S/N when I attended one of the local meets and was approached by some younger guys wanting a race. The only racing I do anymore is on the track, so naturally I declined. They walked off tellin the rest of their groupies that I had "flat tires". LOL!

my friend Mark did thoery races which usually made the person give up and drive away without a race. it was amazing how his car usually won in those types of races

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
