Guess what the 490 means in the name of this knob it's truly a beast. I need a short shifter now!

It doesn't quite weigh as much as a billiard ball...

After being exposed to the sun for a while it faded and then I got the Skunk2.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Heavy shift knobs give a more confident shift and glide into place easier. But everyone is different. I like a heavy knob, I feel as though the trans grinds less and it 'falls' into gear easier.

Old knob on the left. Doesn't fit super well or look great, but it's nice for driving. Left is a "Nokya' knob off ebay. Cost me $12.99 shipped. It's really light, but it looks halfway decent.
