I like the extended upper mounts also. People have said that it's impossible
to lower my car as I have done. Want to post up the info?-Bob

There certainly a whole lot of choices these days with full body coilovers. Shit I remember when all we had to choose from were either Tanabes, Apexi N1 coils, JIC Magic, and Tein where the most affordable brands for coilovers. Now seems like it's nearly pointless to run on a sleeved set really.

Almost every article I've read by a shop/person that races competively or knows what they're talking about mentions the above brands as just hyped-up products, when there are better products out there...

With that aside, from what I've heard and seen, the Koni/GC combo is great for the price. You're getting high quality stuff for not too high of a price. It's considered on of the best combos for the EF without getting into high price suspensions ($2000+, Motons, etc).

OP, I've heard great reviews of the Progress Coilovers. I don't how much they cost for your platform or if they have them, but when I was looking at them for my CRX they where like $600 shipped. I chose AGX/GC's becuase it's a tested and true combo, and I found a set for $500/shipped.
for a street car they were great. not too stiff, and far better than any adjustable sleeve or lowering spring. i dont race competitively unless its on two wheels and on dirt, but even then suspension is probably the single most important thing. if i were to build myself a full on race car, you bet i wouldnt be using either of these setups. my teins are the SUPER STREET version. hence they are for a street car. all of the others i had driven were full bodied coils designed for street use as well. and for a street car they did their job. minimal body roll, but forgiving in situations where they needed to be. and far from bouncy. reading a race shop review on street based coils can be sort of biased would it not? i am simply going by the cars ive driven with and without full bodies. i can tell you that the quality of produce from tein is far from "hacked up," and the k sports ive helped install werent either.

ok, chiming back in for the blackworks. i really like them; smooth ride, and drops the car to the floor too if you would like. the suspension isnt as stiff as the omnis i used to sport(omnis are more for racing)... the blackworks come with the spring rates preset. im loving them so far....
