k series in stock form far out performs most mildly modded b series bc of the tq curves. better flowing head, larger bore, bigger valves, and better cams = better motor.

 

k series gave us a honda big block. I would perfer to pay the price of a B swap assc. for a K would be nice.And kpro is way too much money! its worth it but you have to sell dope to get the damn thing.

 

No doubt the K has some serious potential for power. I love the B series though lol Hence why in the year 2009 I still purchased a 98+ JDM B18CR and had it shipped over which wasnt cheap. I'm one of those people that wants to have the top of the line of a series.

 

k24/k20 < b18c for price and power...not hating just my 2 cent

and FoxHondaRider, Im sure you paid a pretty penny for that JDM B18C, IMO I would never pay that much, Id put something together with more power for just as much or less cash (assuming you paid 3k-4k).

 

I bought all the parts needed for a friends k swap. Motor+transmission for $1700. Bought Kpro off of k20a.org for $750, mounts were $350, fuel system was $450, and misc shit was another $500. Oh and the $900 header.


That equals out to $4650, probably around what FoxHondaRider paid for his b18c5.
Oh and I could do a k swap for even cheaper, but then you sacrifice proven and good parts, for not so good ones (fuck you dc header).
