i'd put them in this order from cheapest to most expensive
-rebuilt d16z6 w/turbo
-b series w/turbo
-k swap

bro, listen. rods, pistons and rings are about 900 alone! there is no way a built d will be cheaper than a bolt-in k-swap. no way. i have done them in eg's. a lot easier, less time involved and a thousand times better motor/trans.

if i had more time i would go into detail... but taking out and building a D and all the turbo accessories, machine work, labor and everything is not cheaper than swapping in a K. K's are very common motors for swaps now and are not that expensive. shit, you can get an accord/crv k24 longblock for $700! which is less than the d- pistons, rods, rings! lol

My car isn't fully back together...at least not in the shape I want to sell it. I won't get what I need out of it...$1500 is for how she sits now, I will be asking $2000. I have to swap the head.

you will need to get a conversion harness, and use the z6 distributor if you want to run the p28 (which is the best way to go)

prices will change depending on the build. eagles and forge pistons(wiesco, je, srp ect.) will go 900+. but eagles and vitara(which have been proven to hold up) can go for 700 w/ bearings and gaskets.
ive seen base model k- series go for 1300. and ive seen typ-s k series swaps go for 5000.
IMO building a d for boost is cheap and still carries plenty of potential. building n/a on the other hand is a waste IMO
