jdm itr center console in ef si
I will post info on it tomorrow when I am able to take pictures...it took me a good 2 hours worth of shaving small portions of plastic off the EF dash piece and the integra center console. I do remember running into the issue with the shifter so I will have to remember how I corrected this (this was almost a year ago). As of right now...I have no filler piece...there is no gap...and the shifter and e-brake work fine.

Guys don't get mad at me I totally forgot to take the pictures.
With the factory EF dash piece you have to remove it from the car and pull off the bottom where the cig. lighter and ash tray are. Next you will have to put it back into the car and start fitting the center console. You will have to remove it over and over again and just shave a little plastic from the top of the center console and some from the inside of the dash piece. FYI...if I remember correctly I had to shave more from the EF side than the DC...that's how I got it to sit nice. The DC console piece actually sits with the EF dash OVER it...not flush in the front. If you do it that way you can make it sit flush in the rear. Yes you will have to drill a hole on each side for the screws to go through into the factory EF area below the dash. You will have to install the rear bracket for the center console in order to bolt the rear portion in.
Mine sits flush with the carpet. It sits flush by the back section where the screws are. The front most area where the ash tray and cup holder and stuff is actually sits about 1/4" to 1/2" up inside the dash area.
