Just a thought 
but....
Why does honda have american letters on their engine codes instead of japanese symbols when you order a "JDM" motor?...same with the VIN codes...not very JDM if you ask me!

Never been to japan so I wouldn't know what they speak there...but I should have assumed since 80% of 10 year olds and under are smarter and much more well versed than our college graduates.
