Figured i would make a thread for shop updates


Doing some lma's,valve guide seals and a replica rmf narrow header on a b16 in a crx.Pics will be up tonight hopefully.

Sorry for delay I have been busy with a move.Here are some pics.They are kinda cheesy pics cause they are from my phone but I was trying to knock out the job quickly.

Everything organized and laid out


Compressing the valve springs to remove the keepers and such to change the valve guide seals.


Reassembled the motor and test fit the header and the radiator.I was told I had to trim the fan shroud by the header.nope.had to run a slim fan.The blades on the fan were going to tag the header no matter what.


Had to bowl out the lower cross member like crazy.in this pic it's off and I forgot to get a pic when I finished.lol


I'll have More detailed updates in the future.I have just been stupid busy and didn't have my digital cam while I was doing the job.

a friend of a friends car.I did it at his house cause it was his high school senior project and I was being his mentor.He helped me out and learned a grip load!lol

 

things have been slow since i moved,did some suspension stuff today and will have some pics up for tomorrow.
