ls crank and rods in c1 block

Default ls crank and rods in c1 block

i have a knife edged ls crank and a set of shot peened ls rods layin around can i use them in my c1 block and what pistons should i use? will have ctr and itr cam setup with oe deck heights, also which bearings ls or gsr

use ls bearings and whatever pistons you want. Make sure to clay check everything.

but will it push the pistons out of the hole due to the difference in cc brtween the two motorsand also can someone tell me how to tell the differences between cranks i believe it is a ls crank but could be a b20 crank no sure

NO DIFFERENCE IN B20 AND LS CRANK. I HAVE A B20 CRANK IN MY LS BLOCK AND IM USING TYPE R PISTONS. CRANKS ARE THE SAME

ok but by using the ls crank in my gsr block will i push the pistons out of the cylinder (using ls rods as well)

i changed it to cylinder but anyway still need to know if it will put the pistons out of the cylinders at all

all b-series main bearings are the same

the longer stroke from the LS motor is caused from the different rod to stroke ratio not the blocks deck height. the pistions skirts will not have a problem with passing the deck height.
