unhook your cat and take it for a ride. it could be that your cat was clogged. i overhated my car and the cat went to shit. vtec would turn over but no power. didnt throw a single code. couldnt figure out the problem for shit. i thought it was something in the valvetrain. try to unhook the cat and take it for a ride. hopefully that helps.

hmmm ..not possible for me...I have all custom welded exhaust...So I cant just unhook it...Im thinking that this isnt a vtec problem anymore..its getting worse....I can barely make it to 4 grand...before motor feels like it is going to cut out....acceleration is terrible...takes me a hell of a long time to just get to 40 mph...my friend said...when he changed his distributor..the prob. went away for him...but I dont want to buy one before I find out that it is the problem...I just want to borrow one to see if it helps.
