When you rev it to 5000rpm does it just stall?
if so try switching you Throttle Positioning Sensor Plug with you MAP sensor plug
not totally sure but give it a try

My car was doing the same thing when I swapped my B16 into it. I tried to run my P72, but it would hit a limiter at about 5,000rpm... Then I got a P61 and it works fine. I was thinking that there ws something wrong with the P72 ecu.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY OLD CRX THAT I SOLD TO ART
BUT MINE WOULDNT GO PAST 4500RPM. IKEPT GETTING CODE 17 FROM ME COMPUTER(FUEL INJECTOR SYSTEM-DEFECT CIRCUT ORUN PLUGGED/DEFECTIVE FUEL INJECTOR)SO I BOUGHT NEW INJECTORS AND MY PROBLEM WAS GONE!CHECK IF THATS THE PROBLEM.
